New bows

Welcome to the gallery of my latest work. Above are photos of a Soloist Series bow (Charles Peccatte copy). I will add more bows to very soon!

My new bows are divided into four categories: Student Series (made in collaboration with other bowmakers), Orchestral Series, and the top of my range are the Soloist Series and Collector’s Series. 

All my bows are made with pre-2007 (CITES approved) pernambuco and other approved materials, so will not encounter any problems at customs.

SLEEMAN BOWS

All my bows have been perfected using the Technical and Tonal Optimisation Protocol (TTOP). This means that every stick has been meticulously cambered, enabling a full contact with the strings, maximum control and a very pure sound. All bows are made from the highest quality pernambuco, especially selected for it’s high resonance. The models I use are based on the work of the greatest old French and English bowmakers. 

 

I have 4 series to choose from:   

         

           STUDENT SERIES (in silver)

           ORCHESTRAL SERIES (in silver)

           SOLOIST SERIES (in silver and gold)

           COLLECTORS SERIES (in gold)

 

The types of bow I make are:

 

                                   Peccatte model

                                   Viorin model

                                   Sartory model

                                   Tubbs model

 

                                           ALSO:

Early baroque (Monteverdi twig): Snakewood stick, ebony frog.

Later baroque (Tartini model), snakewood stick, mamoth ivory frog.

Classical model (based on Tourte or Dodd): mamoth ivory frog.

In case your need is urgent, you have the option to place an order (with deposit) and I will do my best to make it within a certain timeframe. In this case I will provide a contract.
